This site's purpose is saving the Marshall Field's name, period. We have no commercial or financial intentions of this site; if we choose in the future to accept donations be assured they will be rolled directly and wholly into this cause.

This site is made possible by users' participation and good word-of-mouth. Although we would like you to submit your e-mail address to keep you notified of upcoming events and new site features, we respect your privacy and honor the wishes of those who chose not to give us their names or e-mail addresses. We will not forward your personal information to anyone unless you authorize us to do so.

If you choose to submit a story to our site, please understand that we reserve the right to edit your submission for space and content (although we hopefully will not have to do so), and that not all submissions may be posted.
